Recognetics manufactures low-cost, miniature image capture and recognition modules based on the CogniMem neural network chip. The modules feature an FPGA which can be loaded with a variety of CogniSight image recognition modules interfacing with the CogniMem chip. Run-time for Matrox Iris camera

This solution comprises a CogniSight recognition engine running a Matrox Iris camera and can recognize up to 5 categories of objects at 12-20 fps. The user interface allows the transmission of images and statistics over Ethernet.
